PUMA and the EFL have launched an official Rainbow match ball for the second year in a row, combatting homophobia in football during LGBTQ+ History Month.
The PUMA Orbita Rainbow ball includes the colours of both the rainbow and progress flags, letting it be known that everyone is welcome in football, on the pitch and in the stands.
The ball will be used by all 72 clubs in the Championship, League One and League Two for all matches from February 6-17. Like last year, PUMA will donate money for every goal scored with the Rainbow ball. Funds will go towards Football v Homophobia, supporting the work being done to ensure football is a safe space free of discrimination.
Last year PUMA and the EFL raised over £16,000 for the LGBTQ+ Fans for Diversity Fund, allowing supporter groups to activate their communities with events promoting diversity and inclusion. The money also provided resources for LGBTQ+ fans across England and Wales.
EFL partners will also support the campaign, with the ball being available to all EA FC players.
The PUMA Orbita Rainbow ball is available to purchase now on the PUMA website and select retailers.
