VERSUS and Nike link up to drop a limited-edition zine that celebrates the biggest game changers in sport right now: ‘The Play List’.

The days of footballers doing their talking on the pitch, and athletes putting performance before personality, are over. We’re at the front of a new era where athletes and coaches at every level are using sport to change the world. We’re here to celebrate those people.

We’re going to champion the players who dream about swapping their Man of the Match award for a Nobel Peace Prize, recognise the boxers who are in the game to KO discrimination once and for all, and salute the grassroots leaders who are making sport a fairer place for everyone from the bottom up.

These icons are inspiring the next generation of athletes with every move they make. They’re taking the toxicity out of sport and finding success beyond victory. In their brave new world, everyone’s an athlete and everyone can play.

'The Play List' is a 48-page zine brining our iconic captions into print for the first time. Among the names being celebrated are world class athletes like Marcus Rashford, Jordan Henderson, Pernille Harder, Dina Asher-Smith and Ramla Ali – and community organisations who are fighting to make sport a more equal place including Gloves Not Gunz, Football Beyond Borders, Girls United and Indian Gymkhana.

Sport has the power to change the world. These people prove it.
