Nike’s finally getting into their retro football bag, bringing back Brazil’s 1998 World Cup drip in a new special-edition capsule.

The limited collection includes a reissue of Os Canarinhos’ blue and white tracksuit jacket and matching bottoms, complete with the retro fit, green Swoosh and four stars above the CBF crest.

To lean into the nostalgia factor, two versions of Brazil’s ‘98 jersey are available – a plain one and a special R9 edition. With the iconic Seleçao colourway, high neck and ‘90s silhouette, Brazil’s streetwear takeover might last just a little bit longer.

Everyone loves a retro kit, and with brands leaning into the vintage hype, it was only a matter of time before Nike got involved. This futebol heritage, and one everyone’s going to try and grab once it drops. With Brazil setting the tone, who could The Swoosh give the reload treatment to next?

The Brazil 1998 kit and tracksuit drop exclusively via the SNKRS app on 24 June, with the Ronaldo jersey available to purchase from 1 July.
