Nike is set to release a lifestyle version of the iconic Total 90 football boot – the ‘T90 III Sail’.
The Swoosh’s upcoming T90 III SP looks almost identical to the original 2004 release, debuting in a minimalist ‘Sail’ colourway, perfect for those warmer days on the horizon. The lifestyle iteration also arrives fitted with the same quilted toebox and asymmetrical lacing system worn by the likes of Figo, Roberto Carlos and Fernando Torres back in the day.
The sneakers also feature the legendary encircled “90” design, found on the release’s lateral sidewall, while “Total 90 III” is printed around the heel.
Whilst the top-half of the design seems to be identical to the OG iteration, the lower-half of the new release is totally different courtesy of its gum rubber sole. You can’t be wearing bootcuts with studs now, can you?
Although no official release date for the ‘T90 III Sail’ has been announced, football fans and sneakerheads can expect them to drop in the very near future as Nike has been teasing T90 related content and rumoured silhouette releases since last summer.
