Nike has unveiled Erling Haaland’s signature Phantom GX 2 boots, giving one of the world’s greatest strikers a bold, new look.

The new ‘There Will be Goals’ Phantom GX 2 is Haaland’s second special-edition boot with Nike, coming just after his contract renewal that will keep him at Manchester City for the next decade. The Norwegian striker has been a force of nature in the Premier League since joining the club in 2022, so it’s only right his boots match that same energy.

The design pays homage to one of Norway’s largest natural wonders – the Bereenberg volcano. The upper features a gradient effect, fading from a deep blue to a fiery eruption, complete with a flame-like graphic. 

A metallic Swoosh mimics this gradient, ending in a dark orange. The soleplate is the same shade of blue as the upper, with a pocket of lava orange at the toe.

Haaland’s ‘Force9’ logo decorates the heel in a contrasting shade of sky blue for a final flourish.

The boots are available to purchase now on the Nike website and select retailers.
