Streetwear retailer BSTN and Georgia Stanway have teamed up for the latest Nike Air Max SNDR release.

The Munich-based store and FC Bayern midfielder, have produced an editorial photoshoot that champions the newest addition to the SNDR family, the ‘BURGUNDY CRUSH’.

Originally called the ‘Air Max Sunder’ – released back in 1999, the year Euros winner Stanway was born – this sneaker was ahead of its time courtesy of its laceless design. Fast-forward 25 years and the SNDR's reworked aesthetic has the streets in a headlock once again.

The newest iteration continues to break the mould courtesy of its gradient colourway, blending ‘Burgundy Crush’ and ‘Baltic Blue’ with its signature ‘Dark Pony’ reflective design panels that flicker when touched by light. Equipped with Max Air cushioning in the heel and forefront for bounce and comfort, this drop doesn't sacrifice style over substance. On the iconic zip upper, the numbers ‘6543’ can be revealed when unzipped, a nod to the last four digits of Nike’s office numbers around the world – which spell ‘N-I-K-E’ on a keypad.

The editorial photoshoot between BSTN and Stanway was inspired by her love for fashion and in particular sneakers. The Nike athlete has regularly been known to pull up to St George's Park in the latest Swoosh silhouettes, but has taken things to a whole new level thanks to this lookbook-inspired campaign.

Nike's Air Max 'BURGUNDY CRUSH' SNDRs are available to purchase now online via BSTN and in store.
