PUMA have just dropped Borussia Dortmund’s 22/23 home shirt, a kit that provides an elevated take on BVB’s traditional Black and Yellow in a clean, stripe formation.
Founded on December 19, 1909, 18 youngsters came together to start the Ballspielverein Borussia in the “Zum Wildschütz” inn on Borsigplatz. BVB’s historic birthplace serves as the inspiration for this season’s Home jersey, with a special graphic representing the windows of the Wildschütz inn sitting within the black stripes.
Further details can be seen in the form of the “Borussia Verbindet” lettering, located on the neck of the black and yellow jersey, which Jude Bellingham and co. will don for in front of the Yellow Wall next season.
The new jersey arrives in two iterations, with the on-pitch version donned by the players arriving in ULTRAWEAVE performance fabric and dryCELL sweat-wicking technology – the jersey the lightest and most comfortable PUMA has ever made. The Replica version is made with 100% recycled polyester with dryCELL sweat-wicking technology.
