Nike and Neymar's Shox R4 collab is finally set for release this month.

First releasing in 2000, the model's sci-fi aesthetic and aggressive stance left a lasting impact on Neymar, who told Nike, "They were like a shoe of the future."

There are two new iterations of the silhouette, with the gradient coloured black/green/red model mirroring the hues of a watermelon, which Neymar labels “a crazy colour combination”. A second white/red version features metallic detailing and a similar, over-branded look, with logos of various sizes from toe to heel. Check out the close-ups of the two models below.

The Nike Shox R4 Neymar JR is dropping on May 30 on nike.com and at select retailers.
