Humanrace and adidas Redefine Football Apparel With Their Latest Release
Pharrell's love affair with the Three Stripes continues.
adidas linked up with Humanrace, Pharrell Williams’ all-encompassing product company, to produce a new collection celebrating the Three Stripe’s football heritage.
Shot by VERSUS favourite Gabriel Moses, the campaign draws on the German brand’s timeless aesthetic and the legacy of the Samba silhouette – the collection’s hero piece, reconstructed using elevated materials.
In a depature from the established Pharrell x adi colour pallette, the muted Night Grey / Cloud White colourway modernises the Samba for a new generation. Crafted in the finest leather and suede, the shoe features an updated molded leather tongue with zig-zag stitching added on the iconic three stripes.
Alongside the footwear, the capsule includes a range of football-inspired apparel, including knit jerseys, shorts, and ripstop jackets. Coming in a variety of colours, the range of clothing combines adidas’ classic football aesthetic with a premium modern execution.
Pharrell, one of his generation’s most prolific creatives, has collaborated on product with Die Drei Streifen since 2016. And in this latest collection, he takes another step forward by re-imagining ageless silhouettes for a new generation.
By collaborating with Moses to produce the campaign imagery, adidas and Humanrace further underline their credentials as one of football’s most forward-thinking and innovative brands.
