adidas and Ajax are celebrating the club's 125th anniversary with a timeless collection.

Inspired by the rich history of one of the game’s great clubs, the collection takes things back to 1911, when Ajax were first pictured in their iconic red and white kit. It’s the definition of a classic, arriving in truly vintage fashion. 

The anniversary jersey keeps things clean, combining many classic elements of the original kit. Vintage elements such as the buttoned collar and long sleeves with red cuffs all feature, with the familiar Ajax crest switched out for the long-awaited return of the flag of Amsterdam.

Like the original, all-white shorts are joined by black and red socks — a combination worn up until 1962. The Three Stripes' classic Trefoil makes an appearance, subtly worked into the kit alongside other sponsors. The shirt also features an exclusive print taken from 1972 — the club's most successful year ever.

The shirt will be worn by both men and women's teams, and is joined by a clean burgundy tracksuit also adorned with the flag of Amsterdam.
