adidas and F.C. Copenhagen have joined forces to release one of the cleanest jerseys the game's seen in a minute.
The jersey is inspired by the iconic symbols of Copenhagen, including the city’s famous green benches, which are reflected in the kit’s patterns, curves, and colours.
The textured patterns found on the jersey also subtly reflect the curved forms and unique details of the city’s design traditions, transforming Copenhagen’s aesthetics into a wearable performance and fashion piece.
The typography on the back of the jersey takes its cues from street signs and house numbers found in the Danish capital, often seen on the iconic green doors throughout the city.
Internationally renowned fashion photographer Rasmus Weng Karlsen – who's shot covers for the likes of VOGUE and ELLE – captured the shirt in a bespoke studio set-up, featuring lifelong fan Thomas Delaney and Rudi Nielsen, widow of club co-founder, Harald Nielsen.
This jersey partnership comes on the heels of the club's rebranding, crafted by design agency Kontrapunkt and will be available to purchase online from November 23.
