adidas are still in their nostalgia bag, taking another trip down memory lane with the release of the Predator +TEAMGEIST.

After re-releasing the 2004 Roteiro ball ahead of last summer’s Euros, the Three Stripes have fast-forwarded two years with this drop, drawing inspiration from adidas’ iconic World Cup 2006 +TEAMGEIST ball.

Using the latest Predator model as a canvas, the final creation is a masterpiece — beautifully blending an aesthetic of the past with a boot of the present. Arriving in the TEAMGEIST trio of white, gold, and black, the design keeps things classy for the return of a classic. adidas’ HYBRIDTOUCH 2.0 upper is draped in white, topped with the latest STRIKESKIN for a new level of grip and control.

The clean base is paired with gold, used across the soleplate and branded detailing for that winning look, with a contrasting black present on the laces and three stripes. It also features the classic TEAMGEIST motif, as well as other nods to the fusion, including the ‘PREDATOR’ wordmark and the year 2006 on the tongue’s elastic band.

adidas teased the return of TEAMGEIST last year courtesy of their collaboration with NTS Radio, but with the silo's 20th anniversary on the horizon, it was only a matter of time before they dropped a boot pack inspired by one of football's greatest releases.

The boot will be worn by the likes of Jude Bellingham and Aitana Bonmatí, and is available online via adidas, with a limited re-release of the TEAMGEIST match ball coming soon.
