Mohamed Salah and adidas came together to surprise Sefton Park Rangers, a community girls’ football club in Liverpool, as part of the brand’s ‘You Got This’ movement.

Aiming to empower the next generation of ballers, the Egyptian King provided support and guidance from the sidelines by offering words of encouragement and crucial advice during shooting drills – bringing to life adidas’ ‘Sidelines Essentials’.

adidas recently conducted a survey of 12,000 athletes, discovering that 4 in 5 are negatively impacted by behaviour from the sidelines – whether it's from parents, coaches or fellow teammates. The brand's 'You Got This' campaign and 'Sidelines Essentials' guidelines are a response to this negativity, offering a change in perspective that will  potentially encourage up to 20 million more athletes to regularly engage with sport.

Salah is one of several global stars participating in the movement along with the likes of Anthony Edwards, Aitana Bonmatí, and Son Heung-Min — who led a grassroots session in North London last month.
