adidas and Mexico have been on a generational run recently, and their new kit for 2025 is one of their best creations yet.

If a kit could win the Ballon d’Or, ‘México de Oro’ is finishing first place and there’s no competition. The jersey is a striking departure from El Tri’s usual greens and reds, arriving in black with golden details.

Drawing inspiration from the golden age of Mexican cinema, this kit deserves all the spotlight as Mexico balls out on the biggest stage. Intricately-detailed sleeve cuffs and a jacquard base add texture, referencing the embroidered embellishments on Mariachi charro outfits.

For the first time in over 30 years, the iconic adidas Trefoil sits centre stage on a Mexico jersey once more. Stitched above a pared back FMF crest in metallic gold, this kit is one for the ages.

The shirt is accompanied by a lifestyle collection, with a matching tracksuit and the perfect pair of black and gold Sambas.

The ‘México de Oro’ kit is available to purchase now via the adidas website and select retailers.
