Zara have linked up with football’s most stylish player, Jules Koundé, for their upcoming collection in collaboration with designer Samuel Ross.
The Spanish label teased their unreleased range with Koundé via Instagram during Paris Fashion Week, tagging both Ross and his boutique company SR_A SR_A in the shots created by none other than Gabriel Moses.
British artist and designer Ross is best known for creating the luxury sportswear brand, A-COLD-WALL*, a label that uses fashion to explore working-class culture and industrial textures of city life. Ross’s pieces have routinely redefined the boundaries between streetwear and high fashion, an aesthetic that’s seemingly translated to his recent collaboration with Zara.
From Moses’s shots, Koundé can be seen wearing everyday staples such as a bomber jacket, cargos and hoodie – all in fairly dark, muted colour palettes like khaki and charcoal. A stark contrast in tone from the baller’s collaboration with French fashion label, Jacquemus, last year, which was a celebration of pastel colours and extravagance.
Although no official release date has been announced, we can expect the Zara x Ross collection to be on sale in the very near future.
