adidas and Juventus linked up with Fashion Meets Football by Mundial Partners for Miami Art Week, showing off football’s fashionable side in a South Florida takeover.

‘Fashion Meets Football’ is a platform that unites athletes, creatives, artists, and brands in culture-defining moments. The collaboration with adidas and Juventus was a three-day event celebrating the crossover of football culture and contemporary art at Art Basel Miami – one of the biggest art shows in the Americas platforming renowned artists and galleries.

Against the colourful backdrop of a city that’s been captured by footy fever in the last few years, the Fashion Meets Football team worked with Juventus and adidas to tap three different artists to create wearable art that merges the worlds of fashion and football together seamlessly.

Diana Al Shammari – also known as ‘The Football Gal’ – created two bespoke jerseys with her signature embroidered touch using the Italian club’s 2024/25 home and third kits. Gaby Mas from (Re)boot Football and Tom Ellis from Row Z created reworked shirts using deadstock materials provided by Juventus and adidas.

NYC-based designers Akki Zhao and Justin Lin channeled their own immigration-inspired design language to create a custom Juventus varsity jacket that transcends borders and cultures, from Osaka to Turin to Miami.

The Juventus x Fashion Meets Football MIA takeover started with a rooftop cocktail party highlighting the crossover of art, sport and style with a pop-up catwalk for artists and creators to showcase outfits inspired by the ‘Fashion Meets Football’ concept.

A DJ set at the Pelé Soccer Store in Miami Beach kept the vibes going, with DJ Nick Cheo performing in one of the bespoke pieces commissioned for the event.

On the final day, a 5v5 tournament closed out ‘Fashion Meets Football’ on a high note. The event was the perfect fusion of sport, art, music and Miami culture, with custom designs showcased around the pitch to create a unique exhibition dedicated to the beautiful game.
