Nike have just launched their latest Tiemp Legend – the Tiempo Legend 9 – a freshly upgrade version of the Swoosh’s legendary silo that features a new cutting-edge design.

It’s just over two years to the day since the launch of the Tiempo Legend 8, but Nike’s new successor is packed with wait-worthy improvements in design in their lightest Tiempo to date.

A redesigned soleplate and refined upper take the weight of the model from the Tiempo 8’s 228g (Size 9) down to 207g. Constructed from premium K-leather, the upper sheds the diamond shape design in the vamp and features raised textures backed by soft foam pods in key areas where foot connects with ball.

The new features allow for even more precise dribbling, passing, and shooting, with soleplate optimised for strength and traction.

Some of the game’s best ballers in the form of Phil Foden, Joshua Kimmich, Lucy Bronze, and Rose Lavelle will don the new boot, which is set to define play for the 2021/22 season and beyond.

The Nike Tiempo Legend 9 will be available from Nike from 12 July.
