Nike has teased the release of Marcus Rashford’s first collection with the brand, sharing a short video to their Instagram story with a black and white image of the star’s new boots.
The boots will be his first signature colourway, spearheading the ‘Better Believe It’ collection. Though the official design has only been teased in the short video, a potential leaked design has been floating around the internet.
The boots are based off of the Zoom Mercurial Vapor 15 silhouette, arriving in a crisp white with striking, neon details. The Swoosh is outlined in black and filled with a neon gradient of electric pink, orange and yellow.
The same gradient colourway wraps around the heel like a sash, with the motivational words ‘When you believe in yourself, incredible things can happen’ written in black. A small ‘MR’ logo is printed on the collar. The soleplate is an iridescent mix of hot pink and orange, completing the stunning design.
In addition to the boots, the Manchester United winger is also set to receive his own Nike Air Max Pulse – one of the brand’s newest trainer silhouettes. A light blue with white, grid detailing decorates the shoe’s upper, while the sole and mudguard arrive in contrasting shades of grey.
The gradient that features on the boots repeats itself for the insoles, with the same inspirational slogan printed in white. The ‘MR’ logo is featured on the sole and the tongue.
The boots are set to be released on 31st October, and though a release date hasn’t been announced for the MR Air Max, they will likely drop on around the same date.
