The trailer for a new NWSL reality series titled ‘The Offseason FC’ just dropped, giving viewers a sneak peek into what really goes on in the world of women’s football once the season ends.

Executive produced by Alexis Ohanian and USWNT and Gotham FC star Midge Purce, ‘The Offseason FC’ follows 11 NWSL players as they live and train together. Filmed in Miami between the 2023 and 2024 seasons, some of the league’s biggest personalities give us uncensored access to their lives and stories.

In addition to Purce, Michelle Alozie, Ally Watt, María Sánchez, Lo’eau LaBonta, Paige Nielsen, Ifeoma Onumonu, Nikki Stanton, Taylor Smith, Taryn Torres and Kelly Hubly join the producer in the NWSL’s very own version of Hype House. With the production company responsible for ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ and ‘Vanderpump Rules’ behind this one, it’s sure to be an exciting watch from start to finish.

‘The Offseason’ enters uncharted waters for women’s sports, capitalising on the growth of the American professional league and recent interest in the lives of players both on and off the pitch. To take a unique group of players – both rivals and friends – and put them in front of the camera in a way that’s never been done is only a testament to the NWSL’s playful, forward-thinking nature and the players the league attracts.

‘The Offseason’ doesn’t have an official release date, but it is set to come out soon, streaming exclusively on X.
