A documentary on the monumental 2024 NWSL playoffs and Championship is in the works, capturing one of the greatest seasons in the league’s history.

‘For the Win: NWSL’ retells the story of each team on the road to the 2024 Championship. The four-part documentary will provide exclusive access behind the scenes of each team, highlighting the passion and intensity from the locker room to the pitch.

The 2024 regular season was the most competitive NWSL campaign to date, with only 5 points separating the top four teams and a scramble for the remaining playoff spots resulting in a nail-biting final day.

With the league’s best going head-to-head – including Olympic medalists, top scorers and MVPs – the playoffs were nothing short of dramatic. After a few wonder goals, red cards and a penalty shootout for the ages, Orlando Pride overcame Washington Spirit to win their first-ever Championship title.

Player testimonials will break up match highlights and off-pitch scenes, offering insight into the lives of the stars that lit up 2024 and the veterans that set their legacies in stone over the course of the season.

Streaming exclusively on Prime Video, the documentary is executive produced by NWSL and USWNT icon Alex Morgan alongside Gotham FC investor and NFL legend Eli Manning.

No release date has been set yet, but the series will be available in 240 countries and territories when it drops.
