Mary Earps is the first women’s football player to receive a wax figure in Madame Tussauds London after the public voted for her to be added to the collection following Lionesses’ victory at the Euros two years ago.

The England and PSG goalkeeper is one of the biggest names in football and a fitting figure to push the women’s game into yet another space that it hasn’t yet broken.

The popular museum is known worldwide for realistic wax figures of celebrities and prominent figures in society, from politicians to award-winning actors. Earps joins the ranks of Beyoncé, Stormzy, John Boyega and more in the attraction's star-studded roster.

In the world of football, Mo Salah, Lionel Messi, Bobby Moore, Wayne Rooney and David Beckham are already immortalised in the museum, but every lineup needs a keeper.

Earps’ wax figure will be on display at Madame Tussauds London starting this autumn.
