New Balance have linked up with UK rappers Big Zuu and Eyez on a limited-edition 'Pitch Control' version of their Tekela V2 boot.

Arriving with a cold metallic fade effect, the boot takes inspiration from a DJ's ability to control rhythm and tempo and compares it to how "a Tekela player would have the ability to change the outcome of a game" to fuse the worlds of music and football together in the new model.

The model is dripped in a wavey black and silver pattern with red accenting on the studs and insoles to create one of the hardest colourways of the silhouette to date. Just 1235 pairs have been released, and that number features on both lace aglets as a nod to supersonic speed (1,235 km/h).
