New Balance took over East London for one night only with Ebere Eze to mark the release of Furon v8.

Inviting more than 100 creators and tastemakers to Protein Studios in Shoreditch, the event showcased the energy of Furon v8 with a series of conversations and experiences.

Headlining the night was a special panel conversation featuring Ebere Eze, hosted by Mayowa Quadri. With young people from The Eze Foundation in attendance, the conversation looked at Eze’s personal rise, how sport can change the world, and the innovation behind Furon v8.

Joining them on the panel was his brother and Eze Foundation partner, Ikechi Eze, founder of SEASON Zine, Felicia Pennant, and New Balance designer Sherlyn Koh.

Elsewhere, attendees had the rare opportunity to get a bespoke boot fitting and customisation session that allowed ballers to walk away with a pair of Furon v8 tailored to their performance needs and self-expression.

The event marked the release of New Balance’s ‘Energy Rush’ pack, which sees the Furon v8 drop in a vibrant ‘passion fruit, silver metallic and hot mango’ colourway. The Furon is NB’s boot that’s crafted for players who ball with speed, helping them change the flow of the game in an instant.
