Raheem Sterling’s long-awaited Clarks collaboration has finally landed.

Inspired by his Jamaican heritage, the collaboration cements the longstanding link up between Clarks and Raheem and marks an exciting new era for Clarks main brand – with the iconic footwear imprint now stocked at major retailer, JD Sports, for the first time ever.

With a style both on and off the pitch, Raheem is already a familiar face within the fashion community. His clothing brand – 1692 – debuted its first apparel collection back in 2021 at London Fashion Week, with a show that saw models walk the runway donning Clarks.

Although Raheem has previously designed a one-off, limited edition Wallabee in partnership with Clarks Originals (which sold out in minutes) this will be the first time he has turned his hand to designing a complete collection, available as part of a wider release.

The collection features a refined, utilitarian-inspired aesthetic, arriving in neutral tones of navy blues, clean whites and ecrus, with darker shades of grey, black and khaki inspired by the industrious land of wood and water surrounding Jamaica’s capital city.

Talking about the influence and importance of the collection, Raheem said: “In school I wanted to keep up with the kids wearing fresh kicks so I was selling frozen slush after class to make money to buy my first pair of wallabees. Fast forward and now to be the first Jamaican with my own Clarks collection is an honour.

"When I heard I could build this line I was buzzing, it’s a brand I’ve loved from a young age so to have this opportunity is really special. As a nod to the special connection between Clarks and Jamaica I wanted to do something that was for the island, for Jamaica itself. On the heel you see my brand 1692 which is the year Kingston was founded and hidden inside the shoe is the motto of Jamaica, ‘out of many one people’.”

The Raheem x Clarks range is unisex and will cater for adults, as well as children. Raheem was closely involved in every stage of the design process, choosing to remix two iconic silhouettes – the Wallabee & Desert Trek.

Raheem linked up with childhood friend and Top Boy actor Kadeem Ramsay, and DJ / presenter Becca Dudley for the campaign lookbook, which you can take in below.

The collection will be available to purchase at JD stores and online in the UK and EU for 6 months.
