Images via C.P. Company Football fans’ favourite terrace fashion label C.P. Company, has linked up once again with skate brand Palace, to produce one of the cleanest streetwear capsules of 2023. After the success of their first co-designed range last year, C.P. Company and Palace’s second collaborative effort fuses the Italian brand’s innovative sportswear designs with the London-based imprint’s eclectic style. Born in the South Bank, one of the most important hubs of London’s skate scene, Palace is known for fusing vintage and contemporary influences into streetwear silhouettes. And so, for the second chapter of their collaboration, Palace’s taken some of C.P. Company’s iconic shapes and fabrics to produce a collection that blends technical know-how with an experimental aesthetic and meticulous focus on detail. C.P. Company’s iconic Google Jacket arrives with a removal fleece lining and is made from Kan-D, a monofilament nylon that resembles cellophane sweet wrappers from the 1950s and 1960s. Its extremely transparent texture and shiny surface highlights the ‘PALACE COMPANY’ logo printed across the back of the jacket, as well as the front branding and all the flap pockets – making it easier than ever, to get the badge in.The Google model has also been recreated as a bright orange lined silhouette, that features a hidden and removable face mask, whilst the Explorer Jacket – another C.P. Company staple – has been reproduced in D.D. Shell Rip-Stop, a thinner uncoated nylon when combined with the Direct Down injection process, gives the garments greater softness and a more nuanced light/dark effect. The collection also includes a range of everyday garments such as cargo pants in Flatt Nylon, a hooded sweatshirt in cotton fleece, a short-sleeved T-shirt with the distinctive graphics of both brands and a lambswool funnel neck sweater. A range of accessories in the form of a transformable Nylon B shoulder bag, a goggle beanie with a straight visor, a baseball cap with earflaps plus goggle lenses on the back, and a down-filled D.D. Shell scarf complete the collection. The collaboration will be available from December 8 at Palace stores and online via palaceskateboards.com, as well as exclusively at the C.P. Company flagship store in Milan and online at cpcompany.comTake a closer look at the collection below.
