Lack of Guidance has just dropped a new collection for AW24 and a cold weather football-inspired campaign to go with it.
The Amsterdam-based label is known for being a one-stop shop for the best of contemporary football fashion, so of course the campaign had to focus on the beautiful game for their winter releases. The collection, shot by local photographer Eva Roefs, includes all the essential Lack of Guidance garms including tracksuits, jumpers and tees, all of which feature fresh twists for the new season.
The brand's signature shades of black, grey and blue form the base colourways to the sweatshirts, drill tops and track jackets, but the knits bring some vibrancy to the otherwise autumnal vibes.
The royal blue and 'Brat' green knits feature an oval logo with the word 'GUIDANCE' in the middle. The design is reminiscent of the two-tone monochromatic adidas Climacool logo that first appeared ahead of the 2002 FIFA World Cup - a tournament that gave fans Climacool kits for the first time too, with France and Japan's often being heralded as the most iconic.
A vintage Boca Juniors-inspired top also features and arrives in a soft, dark short-sleeve knit with a yellow stripe - similar to the Argentine club’s woven kits of the mid-20th century.
A more modern take on a football kit rounds off the collection in navy blue with cobalt details. Its retro-style collar creates a stylish look whilst the Lack of Guidance logo and brand name sit in the centre of the shirt.
The new collection is available to purchase now on the Lack of Guidance website.
