AC Milan and the New York Yankees have launched a lifestyle collection, and this out of left field collab is one you never knew you needed.

AC Milan has slowly been defining themselves as one of the most fashion-forward clubs in the world, reflecting the fashion capital they call home. Joining forces with one of the most popular and recognisable sporting franchises to drop some unique streetwear, this capsule hits it out of the ballpark. 

The collection features dual-branded T-shirts, hoodies and, of course, lots of baseball caps. Taking the AC Milan badge and reinventing it, the Yankees’ logo replaces the Milanese coat of arms and Rossoneri stripes, featuring on almost every item in the capsule.

The two standout pieces draw inspiration from the fashionable side of baseball – a varsity jacket and a retro-style cardigan. The jacket arrives in black, with ‘AC Milan’ scripted across the chest in white and ‘Yankees’ on the back. The black cardigan is a simple nod to the base runners of decades past, with the enlarged AC Milan x Yankees crest the only form of decoration.

The rest of the capsule includes lifestyle items, from a limited-edition baseball to a set of playing cards.
