Images via Clarks Raheem Sterling and Clarks have joined forces to release a new Wallabee boot, co-designed via the baller’s fashion brand, SIXTEEN NINETY TWO.The boots mark Sterling’s third collaboration with the popular footwear brand, and these shoes are perfect for the dropping temperatures. Made from technical quilted nylon with adjustable lace toggles, this collab just made gorpcore cool again.The Wallabees are navy, with a quilted upper that almost looks like a puffer jacket for your feet. Sterling’s connections to Jamaica are often prevalent in his collaborative brand work, and this release is no exception. The signature branded fob is imprinted with ‘Est 1692’ – a nod to the year Kingston, Jamaica was founded. On the heel tag, Jamaica’s coat of arms is stamped.The collaborative design launches on 1 December and will be available to purchase in-store at the brand’s London, Berwick Street location, Manchester, Osaka, Tokyo and Beijing.Take a closer look at the Wallabees below.
