Lack of Guidance and Diadora have just teased an upcoming collaboration, working on a sneaker that pays tribute to the golden era of Italian football.

The Amsterdam-based label is no stranger to a football-inspired drop, but this one steps into a different lane. After collaborating with ASICS on a sneaker inspired by Japan's 1998 goalkeeper top, they've followed the same path for this release — celebrating all things calcio with one of Italy's most historic sportswear brands.

The collaboration sees Diadoria's iconic MYTHOS 280 model reimagined, nodding to Italian identity with a colourway inspired by the country's flag. The teaser, featuring everything from focaccia to football, sees the green mesh upper overlayed with contrasting details from a black midsole and panelling to a red Diadora logo.

The marriage of classic and contemporary brands continues with this release. Whether it's Kappa and Acne Studios or Lack of Guidance and Diadora, a blend of both worlds is elevating the potential of sports-infused fashion.

The Lack of Guidance x Diadora MYTHOS 280 releases on April 11th and will be available online.
