Umbro and Slam Jam are back with another collaboration, with the duo’s SS25 collection reimagining archival football staples with a streetwear lens.
The Italian streetwear giants first linked up with Umbro last year for their terrace style ‘Penalty Culture’ capsule, with the second edition launching earlier this year. This time around, the collection is called ‘Hard Times,’ drawing on Umbro’s role as an English sportswear heritage brand and making old classics new again.
The SS25 collection leans heavily into football, with a remixed, retro England-inspired kit taking centre stage as one of the biggest must-haves of the drop. Slam Jam blends sportswear with military themes, from the chainmail jersey that made its way around the internet earlier this month to football kits reworked with military fatigues in mind.
In addition to the multiple collared jerseys up for grabs, the collection features an array of caps, stitched with thorns and Umbro logos in the muted colours of camouflage. As always, the Umbro x Slam Jam signature balaclava windbreaker returns in a monochromatic, black check design.
The new collection doesn’t have a release date just yet, but it’s already one to look forward to. This is a drop you won’t want to miss.
