To commemorate the arrival of maté on the Cafe NivelCrack menu, Seoul-based streetwear label NivelCrack dropped a football-focused maté capsule for lovers of Argentina and the country’s favourite beverage.

The South Korean brand is known for their footy-inspired designs, and this time the spotlight is on the AFA, with a capsule playing on the federation’s iconic crest across a limited collection of tees, shorts and even a one-of-a-kind maté cup. 

The standout piece is a Copa América-ready track jacket, arriving in Argentina’s signature albiceleste colourway. Replacing the nation’s crest is a golden maté cup, wreathed in laurels with the blue and white of the Argentinian flag detailing the lip. Instead of the usual ‘AFA’ in bold text, the word ‘MATÉ’ is scripted in that recognisable, swirling font.

The shorts are a perfect match, swapping the white base for black to give the fit a contrasted look. The rest of the capsule features T-shirts printed with artwork of Diego Maradona enjoying a cup of maté, available in black or white.
