Leroy Sané fronted BSTN’s icy new campaign, modeling the Air Jordan XI ‘Legend Blue’ sneakers ahead of their upcoming release.
The first Air Jordan XI debuted at the NBA All-Star Game in 1996 – coinciding with Sané’s birth year – with an MVP-winning performance from MJ himself. So it was only right BSTN got one of the coldest players in the game to be their new Jumpman frontman.
The Munich-based retailer took the AJ XI out of the context of the basketball court, linking up with the FC Bayern star for an editorial photoshoot highlighting all the best features of Jumpman’s next drop.
Cool tones and an all-white fit accentuate the arctic blue transparent outsole and Jumpman logo of the pristine, white sneakers. Joining forces with leading motorsport platform FAT International, BSTN designed a custom, F1-ready Porsche 911 Dakar to match the ‘Legend Blue’ colourway.
Earlier this month, BSTN tapped another Bayern Munich baller for a campaign with Georgia Stanway modeling the latest Nike Air Max SNDR sneakers.
BSTN have got their finger on football’s fashionable pulse, and the results are next level. Sané and Stanway are two of the most stylish players in the game right now, and these campaigns just solidified those claims even more.
The new Air Jordan XI ‘Legend Blue’ will be available to purchase from December 14 on BSTN’s website and in-store.
