YEN TOWN MARKET and FC Barcelona have launched their latest lifestyle collection, paying tribute to the club and its global fanbase.
The Japanese streetwear brand have put themselves on the map lately, securing high-profile collaborations with Nujabes and Toyota, and have recently stepped into the world of football through their collaboration with the La Liga side.
Following on from their first capsule in the summer, the newest release embraces the winter weather with some cold additions ready for all conditions. Moulded around the club’s iconic ‘Més Que Un Club’ motto, the Barça brand takes centre stage to prove it really is more than a club.
Featuring in the capsule are a range of outerwear pieces, including a set of varsity-style Blaugrauna pullovers and sweatshirts of varying styles. A standout is a deep-blue knit, complete with the club badge and an all-over cursive 'Barça' print in garnet. Also included is a range of jersey-style t-shirts, sweatshirts, and various accessories to complete the club-focused collection.
As many brands drop club-inspired pieces, YEN TOWN MARKET are going a step further — having become an official licensee of FC Barcelona back in August. It’s safe to say they’re making the most of it, changing the way clubs can (and should) work with global streetwear brands.
