João Mendes linked up with Drama Call to launch their latest drop, modeling the Manchester-based streetwear label’s new collection.
The Burnley baller became Drama Call’s newest frontman, debuting lifestyle essentials in muted tones for the colder months.
A black and ash grey tracksuit with ‘Drama’ scripted in eye-catching rhinestones is one of the biggest must-haves of the drop, alongside a grey sherpa fleece with the brand’s signature north star logo.
The rest of the drop includes quintessential Drama Call garms – hoodies, puffers, trackies and tees – in ash grey, black and pistachio green.
João Mendes might seem like a random choice of model, but real ones know the Mancunian brand knows ball. Drama Call released a modified replica of Manchester United’s 1988 third kit in collaboration with the club and adidas last year. The limited-edition, homegrown drop gave a classic shirt a 21st century revamp, with Drama branding and bold letters.
With Ronaldinho’s son in the mix, Drama Call is quickly becoming one of the biggest streetwear brands in football. Who knows what collabs and link ups they’ve got on the backburner?
The new collection drops on December 15 on the Drama Call website.
