Kappa have announced the launch of ‘Kappa Authentic’, a new sub-label that bridges the worlds of football and fashion.

After raising the bar with clubs like Venezia, Athens Kallithea and Vasco De Gama, their latest chapter sees them double down on a space that has given them great success in recent years. While football is firmly a part of their DNA, ‘Authentic’ will see them take their heritage into new territory, aiming to stamp their claim in the world of streetwear.

To mark their launch, they have unveiled their SS25 collection, giving a glimpse of what’s in store. In keeping with the brand’s identity, the range embraces references to the ‘80s and ‘90s, eras that remain influential in the aesthetic of contemporary football and streetwear.

The capsule focuses on elevating craftsmanship, using premium materials on pieces ranging from tees, knitwear and football shirts to other items and accessories. A standout from the range is the ‘Banda’ set, which pays homage to previous chapters of their history with a nod to Venezia — arriving in the club’s now iconic white, orange and green.
