PUMA have united their nations with a bespoke away shirt design, with most of the band’s 2022 World Cup contingent and other nations that didn’t qualify for Qatar set to don a new style of kit template.

After PUMA’s 21/22 club Third Kits all followed a similar aesthetic theme last season, the German manufacture continue to offer up a similar level of uniformity in the design for their federation sides Away kits. Ghana, Morocco, Serbia, Senegal, Switzerland and Uruguay will be wearing the all-new alternate strip design in Qatar, with Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Iceland, Italy, Ivory Coast, and Paraguay also set to follow suit this year.

It’s a similar approach that we’ve previously seen with Nike’s cult classic T90 jerseys from 2004, as well as Adidas’ iconic Teamgeist designs from 2006, with PUMA looking to write their own chapter into football shirt history with this bold new approach.

Each kit reinterprets national motifs from football, culture, and nature to offer up striking jerseys for each nation and the national team. The designs see a base colour – with lots of sides getting white backdrops and centralised emblem and bran placements – with striking alternate colour hits, usually taken from the respective nation’s flag.

Whether it’s tri-colore sleeve details for Italy, traditional Ghanaian textile patterns, traditional Moroccan mosaics or the Serbian coat of arms, each Authentic jersey from PUMA feature ULTRAWEAVE performance fabric and dryCELL sweat-wicking technology, making them the lightest and most comfortable PUMA has ever made.
