adidas and Manchester United’s home kit for the upcoming 2023/24 season is inspired by the city’s rich history and industrial foundations.
The shirt embodies the spirit of Manchester, and most importantly Mancunians, with an all-over geometric pattern depicting Lancashire’s iconic red rose emblem.
The linear design is a nod to the bridge that connects Manchester and Salford, a constant symbol of the city’s strength and its ties to the Industrial Revolution, a period of history that saw Manchester influence how the entire world operated.
The shirt’s red base is offset by the adidas logo and TeamViewer sponsor, both arriving in white, whilst the iconic Three Stripes that adorn the shoulders are constructed in black.
A flat knit collar replaces last season’s buttoned version, and comes in the club’s colours of red, black and white, with a red rose emblem placed on its inside.
The new kit is made entirely out of recycled materials, in line with adidas’ sustainability efforts, and will debut during the club’s preseason match against Leeds United in Norway on 12 July.
The kit is available to purchase now via the adidas website, select adidas retailers, and Manchester United’s online store.
