Raheem Sterling headlines the latest issue of GQ Style.
The Manchester City and England winger has been announced as the cover star for the autumn/winter edition of GQ Style, one of the most influential magazines in men's fashion.
Shot by British photographer Michael Mayren, Raheem takes to the cover in a Prada jacket and retro Manchester City shirt – complete with iconic 'Brother' sponsorship – for a story that's been titled as "Public Enemy".
Often victimised by the tabloid press, this candid interview by Clive Martin is expected to show a different side to Raheem. A preview shows Raheem discussing multiculturalism, life in the public eye and racism:
"I was walking home from school and somebody called me over. I thought they wanted to speak to me... and they just called me the [N] word. I didn't think there was any racism in this country, growing up where I did. I didn't come across anything like that until then.."
Raheem follows J Hus as the most recent cover star of GQ Style, who headlined the SS issue earlier this year.
The issue hits newsstands on September 20th.
