Destiny Udogie walked the runway for Los Angeles-based brand 424 during Paris Fashion Week.

With the brand presenting a football-heavy collection, it was only right for a few ballers to make an appearance. The Tottenham player made his runway debut in a floor-length fur coat and screen-printed denim – a classic 424 fit.

Udogie wasn’t the only baller to feature on the runway, though. Former Arsenal stars Robert Pires and Mathieu Flamini were cast for the show, as well, bringing the beautiful game to PFW in the best way possible.

424 designer Guillermo Andrade has never been shy about his love for football, making that affinity apparent with a collection inspired by some of Nike’s biggest on-pitch hits. It’s one thing to design clothing with the game in mind, but with football and fashion’s relationship still in the honeymoon phase, three familiar faces trying their hand at modelling is a big step in the right direction.

Moise Kean walked for PDF during Milan Fashion Week earlier this month, and other players have had their runway moments over the years. With 424 pulling three ballers from the past and present to showcase the new collection, football has officially staked its claim as the world’s most fashionable sport.

Here's to more players making runway appearances and disrupting the fashion space in the next few weeks.
