South Korean football creators The2Top linked up with JOMA Korea to create a jacket in collaboration with Cheongju FC.
The2Top have been taking South Korean football across the globe lately and are no strangers to entering the world of fashion either, having previously created a series of jerseys with PUMA — their collaboration with JOMA, however, breaks new ground.
We're used to seeing clubs regularly collaborate with brands, but it's rare to see content creators produce apparel in partnership with a club. The2Top's jack arrives in club colours of dark blue and red, taking a rather simple canvas and seamlessly fusing both brand identities. A combination of logos makes up the club crest, with The2Top’s ident patterns featuring on the left side.
Cheongju FC were founded in 2015 and became a professional side eight years later. Liv, a member of The2Top, played for the club a number of years back, returning for this collaboration — featuring in the lookbook alongside players Gabriel and Kim Byung-oh.
When it comes clubs working with their local communities, it doesn't get much more creative than this. Shoutout to The2Top for working hard to put South Korean football culture on the map.The Cheongju FC jacket will be available to purchase on March 13 via the club’s online store.
