Japanese sportswear brand Mizuno has joined forces with Portugal's João Félix for its new lifestyle capsule.
The new collection arrives in signature tones with metallic hits and bold silhouettes, with the ‘Techno Safari’ range taking inspiration from electronic dance music thanks to its free-flowing cuts and dark hues – perfect for club nights and weekend hikes.
Functional and fashionable and suited to outdoor adventures, the drop includes a three-layer all-black Gore-Tex jacket that provides ultimate waterproof and windproof protection from the elements. Also arriving this season is a black crew neck T-shirt which features a high-gauged knit cotton blend for a silk-like feel and an adjustable drawstring hem for a customisable fit.
The ‘Light Field Shirt’ comes equipped with Mizuno’s ‘Impermalite’ breathable technology, with the rest of the ‘Weekend Safari’ pieces ranging from cargo shorts to a wind-brim sun hat. Whilst the ‘FloraTech’ line consists of refined casual wear staples such as T-shirts, long sleeve shirts and hoodies – all arriving in oversized fits with ribbed collars, showcasing the Mizuno ‘Runbird’ logo and intricate floral back print.
Although this isn’t the first time newly appointed Mizuno brand ambassador Félix has fronted a campaign, having helped launch the Alpha II 'Platinum’ boot pack just last month, it is the 25-year-old’s first step into the lifestyle space, and what better way to mark the occasion than with some of the cleanest gorpcore looks available.
The collection will be available from Mizuno's online store and select retailers.
