Héctor Bellerin has always done things differently, and after co-founding GOSPEL ESTUDIOS last summer, the label is back again with their latest drop.
Embodying their ethos of “reimagining the familiar”, the ‘VERSE CINCO’ capsule features two reversible jackets — the ‘JARAMAGO JACKET’ and ‘JALOQUE WINDBREAKER’ — that champion versatility to reinvent the everyday form of outerwear. Arriving under the ‘ARLEQUIN’ concept, colour is also a key factor in the versatility of this reversible release, shifting based on your choice of style.
Naturally, the slow fashion label keeps things sharp on sustainability, with both jackets made using deadstock technical fabrics. Crafted in Portugal, every single piece of fabric originally started as leftovers from other brands using the factory’s warehouse, meaning only a limited number of jackets could be produced.
Community is also at the heart of this project, with the campaign shot in a familiar setting by longtime friend and photographer Pablo Alzaga. Modelling the release are friends of GOSPEL ESTUDIOS, who styled each item using their own clothes to keep things authentic, also demonstrating the drop’s versatility. Visiting their favourite spots in Barcelona’s ‘el barri’, the storytelling behind this release stays rooted to routine life but does so with a new perspective in mind.
When it comes to championing sustainability, Bellerin’s actions match his words with GOSPEL ESTUDIOS proving he’s doing it in style.
The ‘JARAMAGO’ and ‘JALOQUE’ jackets are available to purchase online via GOSPEL ESTUDIOS.
