Red Bull Leipzig have just signed Everton and England Under-21 forward Ademola Lookman in a deal worth £22.5m.

The Bundesliga club had to improve on their original offer that they tabled last summer to sign the 21-year-old on a five-year deal. Lookman enjoyed a successful loan spell with the German side in the second half of the 2017-18 season, scoring five goals in 11 league games, and has also featured for the England Under-21's 11 times.

Lookman has made 48 appearances for Everton since joining from Charlton in January 2017, but struggled to get consistent game time during his spell at Goodison Park. He'll now be the latest British-born baller to try and make the grade in the Bundesliga, and joins Chelsea's Welsh wonderkid Ethan Ampadu at the club after he joined RB Leipzig on a season-long loan deal.

In other young baller news, Reece James will stay at Chelsea and has been backed to have a breakthrough year at Stamford Bridge.
