Chloe Kelly has joined 258 Management, Anthony Joshua’s talent agency, as their first women’s football signing.
Working alongside Panthera Sports, the agency is dedicated to maximising Kelly’s off-pitch career potential as the Manchester City star's talent and influence continues to grow.
258 MGT Managing Director Freddie Cunningham said: “We are thrilled to welcome Chloe Kelly to the 258 family. Chloe’s exceptional talent and unwavering determination perfectly align with our commitment to nurturing stars in the world of sport. Together with Panthera we’re poised to achieve great success on and off the field.”
Since scoring the winning goal at the Euros two years ago, Kelly has become one of women’s football’s most recognisable faces. For her to be represented by an agency built from the culture only proves her influence outside of the sport.
If March Madness, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have taught the world anything, it’s that: female athletes are now garnering the same level of superstardom as their male counterparts. From LeBron James to President Joe Biden. Women's basketball was all anyone could talk about these past few weeks. Women's sport isn't only here to stay, it's here to disrupt and create long-lasting cultural and societal changes.
With the right coverage, investment and opportunities, moments like Kelly's signing to 258 MGT don't have to be a rarity but the norm. Here’s to more players in the women's game getting the chances to flex their talents off the pitch.
