From re-releasing the 2002 Fevernova ball to reinstating Predator mania, adidas have been in their nostalgia bag these past few months so it’s only right they’ve brought back the iconic Roteiro OG ball for Euro 2024.
To mark this summer’s European Championships, adidas have launched the Roteiro OG - a remake of the original 32-panel Official Match Ball that made history back in 2004 when Greece beat tournament favourites Portugal to lift the trophy for the first time.
Arriving in an “aqua metallic” colourway, the remake merges the early noughties’ original design with the modern technology of the Euro 2024 Official Match Ball.
The Spanish national team were pictured training with the Roterio OG ball ahead of their fixture against Colombia on Friday March 22 - a match where fans can see the ball make it’s debut.
As sportswear brands rush to bring back retro kits and apparel adidas have gone one step further with this re-release. Get ready to relive that Grecian trophy lift all over again from the comfort of your living room or Hackney Marshes.
The Roteiro OG ball will be available to purchase, in the near future, in adidas stores and via adidas.com.
