Trent Alexander-Arnold has launched The After Academy’s job board alongside the PFA, providing former academy players with exclusive career opportunities tailored to their skillsets.
Alexander-Arnold launched The After Academy initiative last Spring, motivated by the stories of players that fell out of the academy system and the challenges they’ve faced pursuing an education and career after football. The After Academy aims to support ex-academy players with career development and opportunities, from jobs and apprenticeships to individual skill training.
The exclusive job board features roles from the initiative’s partners VERSUS, Liverpool FC, Red Bull, adidas, Therabody, N3XT Sports, The PFA, Hugo Boss and Status. The platform is only accessible to The After Academy members which includes former academy players from the Premier League, WSL and EFL.
In addition to the live job board, Alexander-Arnold will also be funding an accredited The After Academy course with the PFA’s Business School. Google will work alongside The After Academy to offer digital skills training, enabling players to hone career skills such as networking and CV writing.
The jobs board is available to all The After Academy members on the initiative’s website.
