Eberechi Eze has launched The Eze Foundation, committed to providing career opportunities and inspirational experiences for school children in London.

The foundation follows Eze’s own core values of community, inclusivity and empowerment, looking to make a positive impact for children on and off the pitch.

Working with schools, organisations and brands, the aim of the foundation is to create internships and work experience opportunities for children who might not otherwise have the chance to do so.In addition to career opportunities, The Eze Foundation will build on last year’s Eze Invitational, making the free South London football tournament a yearly event for children across the city.

On launching the foundation, Eze said: “I’m humbled and truly grateful to share my foundation and the work we are doing. Growing up in South East London; myself, my sister, my brothers and so many others would have benefited from the opportunities we are trying to create.

“I am very thankful that I have a platform that can help me help other people, and I don’t want this privilege to go to waste. We have been operating for almost a year now and I'm incredibly proud of what we have done so far. I can’t wait to share more of our plans and announcements in the near future.”

Shoutout to Eze for not only understanding the platform he has to create change, but actually using it to make wider society a better place.
