Adidas and Boca Juniors have revisited a 90’s classic for the club’s new home shirt for the 22/23 season.
Arriving looking ultra clean without a sponsor while the club look to replace Qatar Airways, the shirt arrives in Boca’s classic blue base and yellow band through the centre.
The kit’s throwback collar gives it that classic, heritage feel, arriving in the same yellow hits sleeve cuffs and branding, reminiscent of the Boca Juniors home shirt from 1990/92 – famously donned by Gabriel Batistuta.
The design is capped off with Boca's nickname, Xeneize, written below the back of the collar in yellow, with Boca opting to use the club's traditional crest after the use of the CABJ lettering badge during last season, which was a tribute to the jersey worn by Diego Maradona in the early 80s.
