Venezia FC and Kappa have just dropped off the club's 2022/23 home jersey, with one of the most-anticipated kit releases of the calender delivering the usual levels of finesse expected from the Venetians.

Now recognized as one of the most fashion-forward clubs in world football, Venezia's high-fashion approach to jersey design is continued into the 22/23 season, with club looking back to the '90s for inspiration for another refined design that looks set to become another summer best-seller.

Paying homage to classic collared and long-sleeved football shirts from the era, the shirt arrives in deep black shirt and accented with a thin, understated orange-and-green taping that runs along the sleeves and down the sides. The collar, with a single-button closure, continues Venezia's orange-and-green stripe motif, with the kit finished with rich gold embellishments — specifically, the new club crest and new Città di Venezia city script.

Created in collaboration with design studio Bureau Borsche — famed for their work with Balenciaga and Supreme among others — and technical partner Kappa — whose iconic kits and tracksuits reigned supreme in the ‘90s — the 22/23 Venezia home shirt

jersey looks to "flip vintage football into high fashion" with a refined, luxe-looking approach.

The 22/23 Venezia long-sleeved home shirt notably bears some resemblance to Aimé Leon Dore’s ALD / New Balance 991 Long-Sleeve Club Jersey that was released last month in the “Made in UK” campaign featuring Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, with Venezia's design team seemingly on the pulse with a design trend that already making waves this summer.

You can cop the 22/23 Venezia Home shirt, in both long-sleeved and short-sleeved versions now via shop.veneziafc.it – get a closer look at the corresponding lookbook below.
