New Balance have dropped off AS Roma’s away kit for the 22/23 season, a clean, all-white strip that takes inspiration from Rome's New-classical period.
Inspired by the neutral tones of the city’s famous architecture providing the backdrop to the design, the jersey also features the “Lupetto” - AS Roma’s iconic wolf symbol – which arrives in a delicate graphic tonal marbling effect integrated into the front of the jersey.
The kit also features subtle details with red and yellow trims which pay homage to the iconic colours of the Giallorossi on collar, shirt sleeves, knitted shorts, and socks. Just like the Home shirt, the words “Figli di Roma” are placed on the back of the neck, in tribute to the bond between the city, with the kit.
AS Roma’s women’s captain Elisa Bartoli said, “I’m a big fan of the shirt, all the special details really stand out. The design is a constant reminder of our city and its importance to this football club”.
The campaign creative is guided by international photographer, Justin Bettman, who worked alongside the brand to help showcase the connection between the new design, the club, and its ties to the city.
